Grace and inner peace
I really enjoyed the demonstration that John Harrison and his wife gave at Potters on 16th May and I am determined to take up Qigong to awaken my inner chi which I am convinced has gone to sleep. I found the movements so graceful and easy to do and felt tingling in my feet when we had finished. John’s demonstration of your Baduanjin was better than any other I have watched and he was so instructive as he explained what it meant.
The meditation we did whilst sitting was brilliant as I had zoned out before the end but I might add that I did not nod off as one student did. Felt on top of the world when it was finished. Definitely, recommend this.- Derby

To all the Thai Chi instructors, (Chris and his genuine passion to help us) to all members of the Tai Chi-Qigong Centre.. Many important weird and wonderful lessons learnt in such a small time with the ability to lead a more relaxed confident life style after only 10 weeks so yes and please for the 2nd term on the 21st March :

Our thanks to Chris for his patience, kindness, and expert tuition. Janice, and I met many years ago, at a local Judo club, it has felt nice to reconnect with the martial side of our lives.

Needed to get more active – success!
As a beginner, I was a little apprehensive, but on arrival at the first beginners evening, I was amazed at the turnout and the warm welcome. Colin and Mitzi, along with their instructors are very patient and take time to explain and demonstrate the forms, repeating as necessary, to ensure everyone understands. Instruction continues at a pace which leaves no one struggling. I shall return for the second term and hopefully improve co-ordination between hands feet and brain!

When we signed up for the first term we weren’t sure how we would get on.Colin,Mitzi and all the instructors(Chris particularly)have been most supportive however even when we mix up our left from our right! It is slowly coming together after several weeks and we look forward to the next term and new challenges!!

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my 1st term. I feel I’ve been waiting for these classes all my life.
I’ve given lots of attention working on both mind and spirit in the past, so this is exactly what I was needing to begin to integrate my body and find a proper sense of balance. I absolutely love it!
Also as I am a slow learner kin-aesthetically, I’m very grateful for all the care and patience.
I will definitely be back on 21st March to sign up to the 2nd term. I’m really looking forward to learning and practicing more

A great start to Tai Chi
I have just completed my first third and can’t wait to learn the next sequence. Colin and Mitzi have been fantastic and all the instructors have been so patient, always taking the time to make sure we get it right. I look forward to what the 2nd third will bring and how it will all come together.

I’ve just finished my 1st term and will definitely be coming back for term 2. I absolutely love my Tai Chi classes. The instructors and assistants are all excellent in the way they teach and it’s never too much trouble to repeat something if you don’t get it first time. Everyone is made to feel welcome and after only 10 weeks they all feel like old friends. Can’t wait to get term 2 started. Thank you all.

Great Beginners Course
Recently completed the beginners course lead by Colin and Mitzi. Finding the whole concept of Tai Chi and Qigong fascinating and enjoyable. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming, looking forward to starting the next course in a couple of weeks. A special thank you to the individual instructors for their patience and help with the postures, sometimes wonder if i’ll ever get the brush knees-play guitar right, I can always live in hope!

Our previous unsatisfactory Tai Chi class folded unexpectedly a couple of years ago. We have thoroughly enjoyed starting a completely new form with this group of happy, helpful people. Looking forward to next term.

Both Colin and Mitzi give a really warm welcome. Everything is explained and demonstrated well and by learning and repetition after just 10 weeks we have amazed ourselves by the amount learned. The other instructors and senior members are very helpful and friendly. I am looking forward to finessing my technique in the weeks to come and indeed to learn more.
Brilliant club would recommend it to all regardless of age.

I trained with Colin Orr for a year to learn Tai Chi. His knowledge is excellent and teaches at a flexible rate so that people can learn at different speeds.
Classes are informal and fun and I recommend him to people on a regular basis.

Always a warm welcome
Every week we come into your session and we are met with a warm welcoming feeling and a sense of peace, which is most appreciated. As yet we are very new to the moves and quite clearly have a lot to learn, but last week as we glanced around and everyone one was “doing” the moves, it is so very nice to be part of the class. We are really enjoying the challenges of remembering the sequencing!

Runham Country Tai Chi Club
I have to miss my class today and I’m really sad, it’s the best club ever. Wonderful teaching from Colin and Mitzi, with a group of lovely people. Tai Chi helps in many ways, with memory, fitness, concentration, discipline and relaxation. We always enjoy and feel much better after our class.

Fascinating Taster Evening
Attended the taster evening last night, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The demonstration from the senior members was fascinating, and even got into the little bit of practical Xi-Gong and Tai chi we did ourselves. Really looking forward to starting the beginners course in January.

I have been a member of Runham tai chi country club since inception. It is a pleasure to be part of this friendly and enthusiastic group, so ably organised by Colin and Mitzi. (Mr & Mrs tai chi). We have a small group of originals and an ever growing band of newbies. Since diagnosed with Parkinson's 10 years ago I have found tai chi a great benefit for many reasons.
