Hi Laura,
Thank you for your blog enquiry, we have a annual 11 week Tai Chi introductory course starting on 7th October 2009. The course will run alongside our regular class, the idea being that it will give you a good feel of what goes on and how the Tai Chi-Qigong Health Centre Association (TCQHC Association) works.

At the end of the 11 weeks you will have a good foundation of Tai Chi, Qigong and Relaxation; you can then make up your mind if you would like to continue learning.

The session is held at Cliff Park Junior School each Wednesday from 7 - 9pm, the cost is £56 inclusive of tuition, insurance and handouts. All applicants are eligible for a 10% discount this year making the total £50.40 for the 11 weeks.

We do still have spaces, Please do not hesitate in contacting me via our website contact page for further details or if you would like to be added to the intro course wait list.

We also run a 2 hour Monday morning session, if you are interested in a daytime class let me know.

Kind regards

Colin Orr - TCQHC Association - Principal Instructor

Tai Chi-Qigong Classes & Workshops.
website: www.taichi-qigong.net

Hi Barry,
Thank you for your comment. I hope your specialist gives you the all clear soon and you can get started learning Tai Chi and Qigong. As you suggested it worth checking your local further education colleges they often run evening classes, or you may like to try 'Tai Chi Finder' which is a very good search engine for classes in your area, here is a link to their site: http://www.taichifinder.co.uk/local/search.html. (you may have to copy and paste)
Best wishes and take care
Colin Orr-TCQHC Association principal instructor.

Although we don't live in your area, your blog is still a font of useful information.

My wife and I are thinking of starting to learn Tai Chi, once my oncologist gives me permission. There don't seem to be any clubs near our home but the the schools sometimes offer it as an evening study course.
